The Centerville Tornadoes basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Viborg/Hurley Cougars to 35 in the Tornadoes league triumph on Thursday.

The Tornadoes now have a 15-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mobridge-Pollock for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Centerville will confront a Tigers team coming off a 73-27 league win over Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Viborg/Hurley falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 12-3. St. Mary won 54-44 in their recent league game against Chester (Chester, SD)
