In Thursday's non-league test, the Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) basketball squad trounced the visiting Holyoke Dragons (Holyoke, CO), by a score of 57-24.

Next, the Longhorns encounter the Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) in a C1 District 11 test, on Saturday, February 1. Chase County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 9-6 record after their 41-34 non-league loss to Perkins County (Grant, NE).

The Dragons (3-12) will now prepare for their outing against Haxtun (Haxtun, CO). The Fightin' Bulldogs enter the 3A/2A Lower Platte outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Haxtun was overwhelmed by Burlington (Burlington, CO), 65-43, in a non-league outing.
