The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Deer Park Stags (Deer Park, WA) and the visiting Grangeville Bulldogs (Grangeville, ID), observed Deer Park's basketball team knock off Grangeville by a score of 71-52.

The Stags (15-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pullman (Pullman, WA). The Greyhounds come into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Pullman dropped by Clarkston (Clarkston, WA), 68-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Kellogg Wildcats (Kellogg, ID) in a 3A Central Idaho challenge, on Friday, January 31. Grangeville will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 49-30 non-league loss to Wallace (Wallace, ID).
