The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Laverne Tigers (Laverne, OK) and the visiting Drumright Tornadoes (Drumright, OK), observed Laverne's basketball team overwhelm Drumright by a score of 65-16.
The Tigers (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Turpin (Turpin, OK). The Cardinals come into the Panhandle Six challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Turpin was routed by Arnett (Arnett, OK), 69-34, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tornadoes battle the Braggs Wildcats (Braggs, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Drumright will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record.
