Ohio High School Basketball - Elgin knocked off by Waynesfield-Goshen

In Thursday's league test, the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers (Waynesfield, OH) basketball squad knocked off the host Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), by a score of 75-65.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds (Lima, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 1. Waynesfield-Goshen will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a 2-16 record after their 54-25 league loss to Jefferson (Delphos, OH).

The Comets (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Gilead (Mt. Gilead, OH). The Indians come into the non-league test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Mt. Gilead went down by Cardington-Lincoln (Cardington, OH), 35-33, in a league test.
