The Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL), 40-23 in Thursday's league bout.
The Minutemen now possess a 8-14 record. They play next when they host Deer Creek-Mackinaw for a Heart Of Illinois bout on Monday, February 3. Lexington will play a Chiefs team coming off a 52-24 non-league win over Elmwood (Elmwood, IL). The Chiefs record now stands at 22-3.
With the loss, Fisher falls to 12-12 on the campaign. The Bunnies travel to Eureka (Eureka, IL) to play the Hornets in a Heart Of Illinois bout on Monday, February 3. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 20-7. Eureka lost 80-52 in their recent league bout against Tremont (Tremont, IL)
