The Geronimo Blue Jays (Geronimo, OK) basketball were winner over the visiting Grandfield Bearcats (Grandfield, OK), 51-40 in Thursday's league bout.
The Blue Jays now possess a 12-11 record. They play next when they travel to Frederick for a Southern Eight bout on Friday, January 31. Geronimo will play a Bombers team coming off a 43-25 non-league loss to Mangum (Mangum, OK). The Bombers record now stands at 3-13.
With the loss, Grandfield falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Ryan (Ryan, OK) to play the Cowboys in a Southern Eight bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 14-4.
