The Cougars now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. James Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. Shawnee Mission Northwest will play a Thunder team coming off a 62-34 non-league win over Olathe Northwest (Olathe, KS). The Thunder record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Trinity Academy falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Knights host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, KS) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Hillsboro won 32-20 in their recent non-league bout against Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS)
