Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Port Huron Northern nudges Forest Hills Eastern

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Port Huron Northern Huskies ice hockey team scored a close 4-2 victory over the Forest Hills Eastern Hawks.
The Huskies (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage (Saginaw, MI). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 4-13 record.
In their next game, the Hawks play the St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Forest Hills Eastern will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Gladiators go into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI).
