The Model Patriots basketball squad (Richmond, KY), was crushed 53-20 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Bluegrass United Bluehawks (Lexington, KY)

With the victory, Bluegrass United advances its record to 12-9 on the year. The Bluehawks travel to Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool (Cincinnati, OH) to meet the Trailblazers in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 1. The Trailblazers enter the battle with a record of 8-8.

The Patriots now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robertson County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4.
