In Thursday's league test, the Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) basketball squad defeated the visiting New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), by a score of 34-16.
Next, the Flames clash with the Grace Christian School Kings (Mechanicsville, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 4. Eastern Mennonite will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record.
The Gryphons (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA). The Celtics come into the test with a 1-2 record.
