The Red Devils (16-1) will now prepare for their battle against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs enter the non-league battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Monte Vista was edged by Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA), 6-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Komets confront the Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA) in a battle, on Tuesday, February 4. Kearny will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 7-8 record after their 7-2 league win over Clairemont (San Diego, CA).
