The Pomperaug Panthers basketball team (Southbury, CT), was nudged 60-55 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Bethel Wildcats (Bethel, CT)

The Wildcats now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joel Barlow for a Southwest battle on Thursday, February 3. Bethel will battle a Falcons team coming off a 46-37 league win over Immaculate (Danbury, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 6-6.

The Panthers (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Green Wave come into the Southwest battle with a 1-12 record. In their last battle, New Milford was nudged by Masuk (Monroe, CT), 61-54, in a league battle.
