Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI), 55-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mt. Hope upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Times Squared Academy (Providence, RI) to play the Eagles in a Division 3 bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-3. Times Squared Academy lost 57-55 in their recent league bout against Moses Brown (Providence, RI)

Next up, the Mounties play the St. Patrick Academy Padres (Providence, RI) in a Division 3 bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Mount St. Charles Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Padres come into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 66-55 league loss to Paul Cuffee (Providence, RI).
