The East Catholic Eagles ice hockey squad scored 3 points and restricted the host North Branford Thunderbirds to 2 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
With the victory, East Catholic moves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to North Haven (North Haven, CT) to face the Indians in a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 2. The Indians go into the contest with a record of 9-1.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cheshire for a Southern Connecticut - DII contest on Wednesday, February 2. North Branford will face a Rams squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Warde/Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The Rams record now stands at 3-7.
