Concordia Mustangs (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Archbishop Bergan Knights (Fremont, NE), 55-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Concordia upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Plattsmouth won 50-36 in their recent league bout against Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Boys Town Cowboys (Boys Town, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Archbishop Bergan will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 71-52 non-league loss to Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland, NE).
