Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) and the visiting Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL), saw Seneca's basketball squad hold off Beecher by a count of 73-66.

With the victory, Seneca upgrades its record to 22-3 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish travel to Midland (Varna, IL) to play the Timberwolves in a Tri-County challenge on Friday, February 3. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 19-6. Midland lost 61-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Beecher will attempt to upgrade on its 20-5 season record.
