South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bigfork Huskies (Bigfork, MN), 65-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, South Ridge upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Deer River (Deer River, MN) to play the Warriors in a A Section 7 bout on Thursday, February 2. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 11-5. Deer River won 87-54 in their recent league bout against Littlefork-Big Falls (Littlefork, MN)

Next up, the Huskies play the Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans (Nashwauk, MN) in a A Section 7 bout, on Friday, February 3. Bigfork will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 59-44 league win over Hill City (Hill City, MN).
