In Tuesday's league outing, the Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI), by a margin of 82-33.

The Hawks (13-1) will now prepare for their outing against Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Villa Novans go into the State Championship outing with a 6-9 record. In their last outing, Woonsocket was trounced by Cumberland (Cumberland, RI), 59-50, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Cumberland for a State Championship outing on Thursday, February 2. Westerly will clash with a Clippers squad coming off a 59-50 league win over Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Clippers record now stands at 6-9.
