Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME), 41-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bonny Eagle upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Scots travel to Sanford (Sanford, ME) to clash with the Spartans in a AA South bout on Thursday, February 2. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Sanford lost 66-43 in their recent league bout against Scarborough (Scarborough, ME)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME) in a A South bout, on Friday, February 3. Marshwood will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 63-52 non-league loss to Gorham (Gorham, ME).
