Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Broadmoor Buccaneers (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA), saw Broadmoor's basketball squad hold off Brusly by a count of 68-61.
With the victory, Broadmoor upgrades its record to 11-12 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Belaire (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Bengals in a 4A District 6 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Bengals come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. Belaire lost 59-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Collegiate (Baton Rouge, LA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA) in a 4A District 6 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Brusly will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Green Devils come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 52-48 league win over St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA).
