The Tates Creek Commodores basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Bryan Station Defenders to 46 in the Commodores non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Commodores now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodford County for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Tates Creek will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 75-54 non-league loss to Evangel Christian (Louisville, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 9-10.

The Defenders (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Spartans enter the District 42 contest with a 10-5 record.
