The Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (Canton, OH) basketball nipped the host Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH), 49-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Crusaders (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Perry (Massillon, OH). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 2-15 record. In their last test, Perry was tipped by Jackson (Massillon, OH), 78-61, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy for a Principals test on Friday, February 3. Manchester will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 86-33 league win over Tuslaw (Massillon, OH). The Royals record now stands at 13-4.
