The Central Christian Comets basketball team (Kidron, OH), was nudged 58-53 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Lake Center Christian Tiger (Hartville, OH)
The Tiger now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast for a Portage Trail battle on Friday, February 3. Lake Center Christian will battle a Pirates team coming off a 61-54 non-league loss to Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 4-11.
The Comets (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH). The Golden Bears come into the non-league battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Waynedale edged Chippewa (Doylestown, OH), 52-49, in a league battle.
