The Southeast Lancers (Cherokee, KS) basketball crushed the host Chetopa Hornets (Chetopa, KS), 70-24 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lancers (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Crest (Colony, KS). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Crest walloped Pleasanton (Pleasanton, KS), 67-63, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasanton for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Chetopa will encounter a Blu-Jays squad coming off a 67-63 non-league loss to Crest (Colony, KS). The Blu-Jays record now stands at 7-8.
