The Lakeshore Lancers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Dowagiac Chieftains to 28 in the Lancers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Lancers now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph for a Southwestern Michigan - West contest on Friday, February 3. Lakeshore will battle a Bears team coming off a 54-39 non-league win over Niles (Niles, MI). The Bears record now stands at 9-3.

The Chieftains (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Benton Harbor (Benton Harbor, MI). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Benton Harbor triumphed over Central (Battle Creek, MI), 71-54, in a non-league contest.
