In Tuesday's league outing, the Dubuque Senior Rams (Dubuque, IA) basketball squad edged the host Xavier Saints (Cedar Rapids, IA), by a margin of 61-60.
The Rams (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Hempstead (Dubuque, IA). The Mustangs go into the Mississippi Valley outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, Hempstead was tipped by Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA), 55-44, in a league outing.
The Saints now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Linn-Mar for a Mississippi Valley outing on Friday, February 3. Xavier will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 60-58 league loss to Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Lions record now stands at 5-11.
