The Dunham Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball nipped the visiting St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA), 57-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (13-8) will now prepare for their test against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cubs go into the non-league test with a 13-13 record. In their last test, University Lab was tipped by Walker (Walker, LA), 63-56, in a non-league test.
The Purple Knights now own a 15-12 record. They play next when they host John Curtis Christian for a 5A District 9 test on Friday, February 3. St. Augustine will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 66-61 league loss to Brother Martin (New Orleans, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 13-7.
