Massachusetts High School Basketball - Essex Tech edges Northeast Metro RVT

The Essex Tech Hawks (Hathorne, MA) basketball nipped the host Northeast Metro RVT Knights (Wakefield, MA), 69-63 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hawks (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Minuteman Regional (Lexington, MA). The Minuteman go into the Commonwealth - Lower test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Minuteman Regional was tipped by Northeast Metro RVT (Wakefield, MA), 76-53, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Whittier RVT for a Commonwealth - Upper test on Friday, February 3.
