Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD), 57-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ethan upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Rustlers travel to Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD) to clash with the Wildkats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Wildkats go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Kimball/White Lake lost 62-53 in their recent league bout against Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD)

Next up, the Rebels clash with the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars (Corsica, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 39-37 non-league loss to Scotland (Scotland, SD).
