The Georgetown Royals basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Lynnfield Pioneers to 49 in the Royals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Royals now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amesbury for a Cape Ann - Small contest on Friday, February 3. Georgetown will meet a Indians team coming off a 44-41 non-league loss to Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA). The Indians record now stands at 1-12.
The Pioneers (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA). The enter the Cape Ann - Large contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Pentucket Regional ran past Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA), 46-30, in a league contest.
