The Hopkins Vikings basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Saugatuck Trailblazers to 29 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sparta for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest on Friday, February 3. Hopkins will battle a Spartans team coming off a 56-42 non-league win over Kent City (Kent City, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 8-6.

The Trailblazers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gobles (Gobles, MI). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Gobles triumphed over Heritage Christian Academy (Kalamazoo, MI), 32-21, in a non-league contest.
