Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY), 59-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Lansingburgh upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Knights host Schalmont (Schenectady, NY) to clash with the Sabres in a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty bout on Thursday, February 2. The Sabres go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Schalmont lost 71-64 in their recent league bout against La Salle Institute (Troy, NY)

Next up, the Riders clash with the Catholic Central Crusaders (Troy, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial - Patriot bout, on Friday, February 3. Ichabod Crane will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 17-0 record after their 75-47 non-league win over Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY).
