The Illini Central Cougars basketball team (Mason City, IL), dropped 64-45 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL)
The Trojans now possess a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Athens for a Sangamo battle on Friday, February 3. Maroa-Forsyth will battle a Warriors team coming off a 57-32 league loss to Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 13-12.
The Cougars (9-14) will now prepare for their battle against Auburn (Auburn, IL). The Trojans come into the Sangamo battle with a 19-5 record. In their last battle, Auburn beat Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL), 36-35, in a league battle.
