In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Union Bobcats (Union, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Ione/Arlington Cardinals (Ione, OR), by a margin of 66-44.

The Bobcats (20-2) will now prepare for their outing against Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR). The Eagles go into the 1A Old Oregon outing with a 15-1 record.

The Cardinals now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Condon for a 1A Big Sky outing on Friday, February 3. Ione/Arlington will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 49-26 league loss to Horizon Christian (Hood River, OR). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-11.
