The Jackson Ironman/Ironladies (Jackson, OH) basketball nipped the host Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH), 39-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Ironman/Ironladies (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Chillicothe (Chillicothe, OH). The Cavaliers go into the Frontier test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Chillicothe was tipped by Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH), 66-33, in a non-league test.
The Marauders now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Vinton County for a Tri-Valley I test on Friday, February 3. Meigs will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 58-48 league win over Athens (The Plains, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 12-4.
