The Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers to 43 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock will battle a Cougars team coming off a 89-34 league loss to Shiloh Christian (Bismarck, ND). The Cougars record now stands at 1-6.
The Clippers (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Solen (Solen, ND). The Sioux come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record.
