The Max Cossacks basketball team (Max, ND), was toppled 68-54 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Washburn Cardinals (Washburn, ND)
The Cardinals now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flasher for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 2. Washburn will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 63-58 non-league loss to Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] (Elgin, ND). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-4.
The Cossacks (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Center-Stanton (Center, ND). The Wildcats come into the B Region 5 battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Center-Stanton was toppled by Drake/Anamoose (Drake, ND), 82-72, in a non-league battle.
