Georgia High School Basketball - Mundy's Mill topples Stone Mountain

January 31, 2023: Stone Mountain, GA 30083

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA) basketball squad beat the host Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA), by a count of 60-46.

The Tigers (11-10) will now prepare for their outing against Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Bulldogs go into the AAAAAA Region 3 outing with a 11-12 record. In their last outing, Rockdale County was topped by Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA), 58-47, in a league outing.

The Pirates now hold a 4-18 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster for a AAAA Region 6 outing on Friday, February 3. Stone Mountain will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 63-31 league loss to Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-13.
