In Tuesday's non-league outing, the West Morris Central Wolfpack (Chester, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ), by a count of 78-76.
The Wolfpack (16-2) will now prepare for their outing against Sparta (Sparta, NJ). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 9-6 record.
The Golden Panthers now hold a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hanover Park for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 2. Pequannock will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 67-45 league win over Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ). The Hornets record now stands at 9-7.
