Minnesota High School Basketball - Southwest Christian trounces Providence Academy

The Southwest Christian Stars (Chaska, MN) basketball crushed the host Providence Academy Lions (Plymouth, MN), 74-52 in Tuesday's league test.
The Stars (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Hutchinson walloped Mound-Westonka (Mound, MN), 59-44, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host St. Paul Academy-Summit for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Providence Academy will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 84-61 non-league loss to Breck (Minneapolis, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 9-4.
