With the victory, Sesser-Valier upgrades its record to 6-16 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Frankfort (West Frankfort, IL) to play the Redbirds in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Redbirds come into the bout with a record of 4-17.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Cisne Runnin' Lions (Cisne, IL) in a Midland Trail bout, on Friday, February 3. Woodlawn will attempt to upgrade on its 6-18 season record. The Runnin' Lions come into the bout with a 18-7 record after their 56-52 non-league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, IL).
