The Swanville Bulldogs (Swanville, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Verndale Pirates (Verndale, MN), 69-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bulldogs (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Upsala (Upsala, MN). The Cardinals go into the A Section 5 test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Upsala was trounced by Browerville (Browerville, MN), 65-38, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Pillager for a AA Section 7 test on Thursday, February 2. Verndale will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 67-42 league win over Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 6-9.
