Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wilmot Wolves (Wilmot, SD), 65-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Webster upgrades its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Redfield (Redfield, SD) to play the Pheasants in a A Region 1 bout on Friday, February 3. The Pheasants come into the bout with a record of 7-7. Redfield lost 64-32 in their recent non-league bout against Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD)

Next up, the Wolves play the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers (Watertown, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Wilmot will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 56-51 league loss to Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD).
