South Dakota High School Basketball - Alcester-Hudson knocked off by Centerville

The Centerville Tornadoes basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Alcester-Hudson Cubs to 36 in the Tornadoes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tornadoes now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marty Indian for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Centerville will battle a Braves team coming off a 55-26 non-league win over Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD). The Braves record now stands at 4-8.

The Cubs (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Freeman (Freeman, SD). The Flyers enter the B Region 4 contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Freeman was defeated by Scotland (Scotland, SD), 35-33, in a league contest.
