The Wellington Crusaders basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Augusta Orioles to 22 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Circle for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Wellington will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 54-22 non-league win over El Dorado (El Dorado, KS). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 10-4.
The Orioles (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Andale (Andale, KS). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Andale triumphed over Winfield (Winfield, KS), 46-25, in a non-league contest.
