Bethel Christian Academy Trojans (Kinston, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC), 40-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bethel Christian Academy upgrades its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Trojans host Living Water Christian (Jacksonville, NC) to play the Warriors in a NCCSA AA East Region 4 bout on Friday, February 3. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Living Water Christian lost 54-29 in their recent league bout against Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC)

Next up, the play the Community Christian Cyclones (Wilson, NC) in a North Carolina Christian - 2A South bout, on Thursday, February 2. New Bern Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 17-7 season record. The Cyclones come into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 34-29 non-league loss to Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC).
