Michigan High School Basketball - Christian can't hold off Catholic Central

The Catholic Central Cougars basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Christian Eagles to 53 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thornapple Kellogg for a Ottawa-Kent - Gold contest on Friday, February 3. Catholic Central will battle a Trojans team coming off a 39-30 non-league win over Zeeland East (Zeeland, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 2-11.
The Eagles (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Byron Center (Byron Center, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Ottawa-Kent - Green contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Byron Center edged Lowell (Lowell, MI), 86-69, in a non-league contest.
