Maryland High School Basketball - Southern trounced by Chesapeake

The Chesapeake Cougars routed the host Southern Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 59-34 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD) in a Anne Arundel County game, on Friday, February 3. Chesapeake will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Gophers enter the game with a 15-1 record after their 63-27 league win over Meade (Fort Meade, MD).

With the defeat, Southern moves to 6-8 on the year. The Bulldogs host Severna Park (Severna Park, MD) to face the Falcons in a Anne Arundel County game on Friday, February 3.
