Connecticut High School Basketball - Crosby ripped by Torrington

The Torrington Raiders basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Crosby Bulldogs to 19 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Paul Catholic for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Torrington will battle a Falcons team coming off a 76-71 non-league win over Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 10-3.

The Bulldogs (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT). The Crusaders enter the Naugatuck Valley - Copper contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Holy Cross was routed by St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT), 76-71, in a non-league contest.
